    Greed people have

This is not for everyone, but people buying up everything that they don’t need is pure greed.
Just read where a 92 yo man was in a Walmart staring at an empty shelf where the toilet paper suppose to be, a lady ask him if she could help. He said he needed 6 rolls of TP to get him through the month and could not believe no one had TP. Born in the Great Depression error, he said people only got what the needed and nothing more. The lady thought and went to her car and gave him 6 rolls, which is a credit to the lady but really sorry of everyone panicking and buying up everything. There would be no shortage of anything if people would get what they need.

Why did that lady have 6 rolls in her car? Sounds like she's part of the problem.

Been seeing stories like this all over Twitter and FB. Also have seen a lot of uplifting stories where people in their communities are reaching out to elderly folks to see if there is anything they need. Obviously you get more views and eyeballs on your story if you report the craziness in a panicky everything is running out hype up kinda way so the good stories about people trying to combat this greed get ignored. Overall though I believe there are more good folks out there then the bad hoarder type. I wish there was a way to see how much of the TP and other stuff people are buying in bulk gets tossed as waste after this is over.

ZOMBIES!!!!!!!! It is one of the most ignorant displays of human panic that I have ever seen...
The media showed people buying up TP in other countries and the Blue koolaid drinking zombies in this country decided it was time to go into full out freak mode and a huge portion of the populous joined them.. And they haven't stopped yet..

Even several coronavirus survivors are questioning the toilet paper buying fascination.. They don't get it either..

I need to go grocery shopping for a family of 6. Not sure whether it is even worth going at this point. Luckily I buy things like TP at the end of every month and get enough for the month. I'm just glad I bought it when I did. I wasn't expecting most of the country getting explosive diarrhea!

I think if you wait a week or so it'll be fine

I would argue it's more fear than greed. I doubt much of the people doing the panic shopping are buying in bulk to resell or stop others from being able to get their essentials.

Sounds like a story about generosity...

Just got back from the store. I went to get stuff to make spaghetti tonight. I was surprised on how empty ( of people) the store was. of course they were low on TP and Paper towels but it seemed like a normal Saturday trip to the grocery store. I hope the mad craze is done

Situation is the same in Canada and Europe, with Europe being 2 weeks ahead of us. I would expect this scenario to last at least until the end of the month

I went to whata burger to pick up some health food this morning. HEB is right across the street. At 7:55 the line was all the way down the front and ran almost a tenth of a mile down the sidewalk towards the YMCA. I have a video but don’t know how to post it. The sheeple have been turned loose.

The craze is about done and let it be a lesson on the boy who cried wolf for October ish when they try to pull some other stunt to jack with the election.
Went to Tractor Supply and the line was to the back of the store but I think it was just that many things are cancelled and people were doing their weekly shopping because kids events etc...were on hiatus.

I witnessed these same kind of things (not specific to your statements)in the early 80s during a hurricane when I moved to the Houston area of wiped out grocery shelves. So grocery stores being ravaged is nothing new imo.

Seems like a few years back with ammo, mostly 22 lr. Everyone was buying all that they could. I wonder how long tp lasts.
