South Texas Hunters Thread 2020

I hunted from the 10th-20th and again 26th-last night.

Shot 2 pigs and that's it lol.

Will be back last weekend of buck season. I'm done burning PTO before I lost it 1/1. I'll shoot a doe or two before it's all over. With the weirdness of 2020 time spent in the woods away from everything was worth it more than a big deer.

I just left our place. Had my nephew management buck hunting, no luck but we did lay eyes on 3 trophy deer all in the 7.5yo range.(i shot my trophy last weekend) Bucks were still pushing does, lots of activity overall. We ended up with two javis and a hog.

Finally got it done with an old management deer. Was rutted down bad from the previous sightings this year. I’m happy but looks like I will go without a true trophy this year.
