looks like a great place. Do you think you got most of the stumps sprayed? I'm about to mulch some next week and the customer will follow me and spray them. Just don't want to make them angry like we talked about on the phone

Yeah, I think we got most of them. The big ones are easy to find, it’s the little ones that get lost in the mulch piles. Make sure he sprays them as quick as possible and tell him don’t be scared to mix that Remedy ole ty stout!

Been busy on the place over the last few weeks. Bought a bunch of red Brangus heifers and a young bull just to make sure I lose enough money on this deal. My latest project is this garden building that was left from the previous owner. I really don’t have much of a use for it.

I thought maybe I could turn it into feed/corn storage if I could seal it up decently. Anyone know of any kind of expanding foam that’s more or less rodent proof? Doors are kind of jacked so I would have to build something for that as well. Or...

I could order some deer view windows and a door and turn it into the mother of all ground blinds. It’d be a white trash, trailer house version of Maccop’s stone cabin blinds. Card table, cots, solar panels, exhaust fan. Hmmm....

I can’t believe there is anyone still on here that remembers those blinds. That’s been a long time ago.
I love your place and I’m excited for you. Your gonna live it. You probably just added 10 years to your life by buying that place.

Who could forget those? They were the only blinds ever built to a River Oaks building code!

I might add or subtract ten years... as my wife regularly points out, I’m prone to “random freak accidents” when I really get to working. But as my dad still says, if you’re not bleeding, you’re not really working!

Could always build some 4’w x however deep the building is x 3’ tall storage boxes out of wood to keep stuff in. Or just buy some totes and store stuff in there. The building would just help keep everything out of the weather. Or, just go for the blind! I really like that idea! Be the funnest blind on your property haha
