    how bout' them LSU Tigers

I know its early in the year but its nice to see the tigers at # 1 in baseball followed by my second favorite team in the longhorns. I would love to see these two teams compete against each other in Omaha if they can make it. Texas teams look pretty stacked this year with aTm and rice ranked also.

LSU has been crushing the ball, hopefully they will keep it up when they play against better competition in conference.

It's going to be a good year for college baseball for sure. As far as the Texas teams, don't go to sleep on TCU. They are looking really solid this year, and to add another, my Sam Houston State Bearkats have quite a squad as well!

My Canes (#10) just swept Florida (#12) this past weekend, so I am liking the beginning of the season so far.

College baseball is such a great sport.

I thought the Texas schools had high expectations. The Tigers just won a NC in football the year before last and Oscar is already complaining.

I'm a Texas fan and even though I wanna another NC in football. I can still smell the last one. Good luck to all college baseball fans for the 2009 Season.

I love College Baseball! Polls are a complete waste of time, but I guess it gives something for the fans to talk about. Out of the Top 6 teams in the Rivals poll, the State of Texas has 3 of them (Texas, Rice, and Texas A&M). It will be interesting once that host sites are selected for Regionals at Texas, Rice, Texas A&M, TCU, LSU, Baylor are all strong this year.

Texas has not been to Omaha since 05 and they need to get back this year. They are off to a great start. Their pitching has been awesome through 9 games with an ERA of 1.15 including a no hitter by Workman yesterday vs. Penn State.

I can not wait to get back to the University of Texas at Omaha.
