High school baseball tryouts

It's crazy how competitive it's become. My 9th grader is on the JV2 team at Mansfield Legacy (11-6A). Looking forward to a fun season!

I have no problem with being competitive. I was a high school coach so I have been there and done that.

In today's world just keep in mind that not every kid will make the team or be a star much less play beyond high school - the odds are against many going to the next level. too much pressure on a youngster (and believe me your kid knows what his or her parents want them to do) can change a kids life. Encourage them and support them but please be careful with your expectations. Keep everything in perspective
