North is still hitting hard on the right spots.

This rain has it rushing chocolate milk. We fished all the way up to the last gravel bar past that place with the nice pipe fence yesterday. Nothing in the muddy mess.

We managed to catch 19 keepers today. Caught a couple that were to small and a drum. Fun day. Depending on the rain that's coming soon (in an hour or so it's supposed to start) I hope to be able to catch some more tomorrow or Monday.

We went to run the boat at Somerville Sunday night and fished the main lake for a couple hours. We tried out several spots and caught little ones everywhere. Nothing over about 8".

When we fish the main lake, especially when they are schooling, all I throw are slabs. Below is a link to the ones you can find at Walmart or Academy. They are relatively inexpensive and you can cast them a mile.

Caught 19 white bass, one drum and one crappie. Most of them were caught on the lure I took a picture of (and a blue and pink one just like it)
