That's the best video I've seen in a long long time! I was smiling the whole time I watched it!

Thanks! We went back today and caught about 30 and the kids played in that freezing water awhile.

Weird. Caught all females friday. Bites shut down since.

Caught some good ones yesterday. Only 3 this morning and all males.

Found a spot up river super clear that I could see a ton swimming in schools but they wouldn't touch anything we threw at them.

I haven't really fished them enough to figure out what's going on.

Caught about 75% of them this year on a 1/2oz gold rattle trap. Which I find odd.

Other 25% have been from rooster tails, mainly fire tiger color with some on white. Haven't had any luck on little fishies, road runners, or crappie jigs.

Fishing out of my cajun special aluminum shallow boat.

Friday afternoon. 40 fish. Only a few males.
Saturday AM- 6 fish half female
Sunday am- 3 fish all Male.
                      Wednesday am - 15 fish- 9 keepers 4 female.
Thursday am 3 fish all male.2 keeper. All on gold trap.

All on south bosque off waco.

Crazy. We only been catching good numbers on bright small hand tied crappie jigs. I guess they just different from creek to creek and fishing pressure. Where we fish it is heavily pressured and they see everything. We only been able to catch them on 4 or 6lb line. I know where we fish its crazy because we will flat murder them and watch everyone else catch a few or none. My son's on his way back now so we will see if he can get in them again like yesterday.

I use my saltwater gear. 10-15lb braid. And have noticed I catch 3-1 or more over my friends throwing heavier mono.

Our area is heavily pressured as well. From what I've seen besides a few older guys that really know what they are doing we seem to be having more success than most.
