      Good move's by Colt.

Frame will be stronger for "more roust shooting".

I got to fondle the new King Cobra & it's a pretty slick gun but yet to shoot one...these new guns will not hurt the original's current insane value.

I hope Colt can figure out how to survive.

Does Colt still make the Dirty Harry special?

Guess they had to make up the revenue lost when they stopped civilian AR-15 sales?

Dirty Harry used a Smith/Wesson model 29 not a Colt, in Magnum Force the motor officers carried the 4 in Colt python

I sure hope they are better quality than the current line of 1911’s and maybe they can work out the customer service issues quickly because I am a huge Python fan

They have built overpriced junk for many years. They re-introduced the King Cobra and it is not selling, some marketing genius thought they could sell a snub nose 357 hammerless for 900.00 and for carrying. Their AR's and 1911's sell by name only, it sure aint cause of performance.

Python's were made from 1955-2004, after 1980 they were garbage. Timing was off, finish was poor, chamber mouths oversized, forcing cones were rough, accuracy suffered and no one could afford them. I have a new in the box Diamondback built in 1976, the fit and machine work is horrible but its a "Colt".

The same with Single Action Army's, I bought 4 new ones in 1997 and sent one back to the factory because it had the wrong cylinder in it. Colt is still selling them out of their custom shop for 4000.00

On a sadder note, Lew Horton's is gone. Closed down for good yesterday.

They actually used a model 25 as well because the 45acp looked bigger... Not sure where I heard that factoid
