Perfect cup of coffee confusing

Ok I hate my wife’s coffee “”taste like patty water””
She hates mine “”taste like mud “”
So I am trying to follow the instructions
Mr coffee says put water to the 12 line to make 10 cups of coffee
Folgers says 1 tablespoonful of coffee per 6oz cup
HEB says 2 tablespoons per cup or one package per pot ( it has 9 tablespoons in the package)
Internet says 3/4 cup of coffee per pot of water

After getting totally confused reading all that for a mr coffee machine
I figured I would consult the GS

All I want is a good cup of coffee in the morning with no complaints from the wife

I got me a french press and it makes a dang good cup of coffee. I have a 4 cup french press and use 2 heaping scoops. If your looking for a good cup of coffe I would suggest a french press.

Yep if I was at the ranch I fill up the pot to the oily line inside put in a hand full and boil on hi then simmer ( no complaints)
Here in town and following the instructions I cannot get it right

Kureg. Make yours the way you like it then she can make hers. My wife likes coffee that is not much more than colored water. Then she spends the next thirty minutes adding stuff to it. Me dark and black. Kind of like used motor oil. Coffee that you can chew.

Or at deer camp... fill up water, add roughly however many grounds will fit in filter without going over. Don’t take the first sip until you are in the blind so there is no second guessing.

Ok now how to fill a 20oz yeti cup with a Keurig single cup maker
I inherited one from the MIL but don’t have any cartridges yet
And any recommendations on the cartridges flavor and brand?
