Getting ready for an elk hunt last year, I gave up sugar and all wheat(gluten) for a month to help drop weight. My joint pain pretty much disappeared. Going to the gym once or twice a week with light weights and stretching helps a lot with other aches and keeping your back aligned.

A lot of good advice here. I have osteoarthritis in my spine along with two “bulging disc”according to my primary that had a look at my mri. I got the mri due to breaking my back last September. Anyway, how about considering starting with your primary to rule out anything that may be more than typical aging. While your still young to me you are getting to the age where you may change to an internal medicine doctor. That’s what I did. Take care of yourself starting now
I basically wore my body out working in the oilfield until 2006. Now I’m reaping what hard work sowed. Get a baseline and work from there and if need be incorporate some of the advice the gentlemen are giving you into your life.

Aleve for soreness relief and prevention. Has worked for me when I felt the need.

X2. Cutting sugars and breads almost 100% helped me with this issue. That and exercise.

I'm about to hit 40 and I feel like I started falling apart in my mid 30's.
Heres a few things that have helped me
                  Staying active and exercising
                  Yoga and stretching
                  New mattress
Aleve but only when its necessary
                  Glucosamine Sulfate

Let a bunch of bees sting you and you'll be well.

                      Hot yoga to limber up
Cabbage soup fast or a coffee enema to clean out any impurities

“” What does a coffee enema do?
A coffee enema is a type of colon cleanse used in alternative medicine. During the procedure, a mixture of brewed, caffeinated coffee and water is inserted into the colon through the rectum. ... Coffee enemas are thought to stimulate bile flow and the production of glutathione, a detoxifying antioxidant.

                      P.S
I haven’t tried these yet as I am getting back surgery on 12-31-19
They were recommended by some people

                        Natural Herb Inflammation Formula:

                        Turmeric Root Powder, 4 oz
                        Ginger Root Powder, 2 oz
                        Yucca Root Powder, 2 oz
                        Cinnamon Powder, 2 oz
                        Frankincense Tears Powder, 2 oz

Mix all the herbs together, and put in capsules. I have used this for years, and it works.

I'm 65 and more water everyday has helped me. Drink, drink, and drink some more.

If coffee is too strong you can substitute it with warm milk
