Troy will need to get the TJ situation under control or he won't be able to hire a 2nd deckhand. They aren't gonna stand for carrying the full load.

Hate to hear that. I don’t remember the deck hands names that we had, but both of them were top notch. One was from Europe somewhere, had an accent. We had Troy as our captain and he was great too. I’ve only been once with them, and I the reason I booked with them is because Troy was the only one to call me back. Nobody else returned a call or email and I booked again because we had a great time. Something we will have to keep an eye on.

Not fishing related, but vaguely related to the Chandeleur Islands...
I was down in Gulf Shores last week and stumbled across the Chandeleur Island beer. I bought a six pack of the Freemason Golden Ale and am a huge fan. I brought a case home with me. Plus, the artwork on their cans is really cool.

Sorry to hear about that. I would had made them throw out the fish from the first day and ask for money back for that day. I'm very happy you dinged the kid on the tip. I hope you stay covid negative.
http://www.chandeleurcharters.com/ will not be on my list next time I want to go to CI.

Chandeleur Islands
I also can’t for the life of me understand why they wouldn’t ice down the fish in this heat. Unless you are going to clean them right now it’s a must, not to mention cold fish are easier to clean.
We are going to ice down fish, it I have to do it myself.

It seems its a common occurrence for these boats to swap crew. Im sure charlie can second this but Ive been on the VI three times and its been a different set of hands each time and a two different captains. The second trip I was informed the previous hands were on another boat only to return the third.
Hate to hear about those fish and even more to hear complaining about a tip. The tip is just that, AND ITS EARNED. I dont care if its a steakhouse or a fishing trip. I tip well IF YA EARN IT.
