For you Rudy's guys, I found this a while ago and have been making it for the last several years. Pretty darn close. I also usually mix Cattlemans and Head Country spicy at home, just has a taste that we like. Salt Lick sauce is good too but dang, look at the calorie count on the bottle!!
Rudy’s
makes about 2 cups
• 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
• 1 cup ketchup
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 2 1/2 tbsp white vinegar
• 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1/4 cup lemon juice (2 lemons)
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp course black pepper
• 1/4 tsp cumin
• 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1. Combine all ingredients in a large pot. Simmer until slightly reduced

If theyre heehawing eating anything...Cookies goes on it. My one year old plowed through his sausage/french fry/scrambled eggs this morning...with Cookies on it.
Most all bbq sauce has a touch of brown sugar in it anyhow. Anything with peppercorn in it is an automatic fail for me...for feeding little ones.
You will not fail with Cookies.
