Same here. Good stuff. Closest taste to Rudys you'll find.

Coarse grain black pepper gives it some kick

Sweet baby Ray's is ok but has too much sugar imho.

I’ve been buying the HEB brand bbq sauces. I like the Memphis and Texas style

Do any stores sell Rudy's (other than in the restaurants)?

                      Absolutely Wild
                      Stubbs Spicy

Cattleman's is a good base to doctor up and make your own. Gonna have to try Head Country after reading through all the suggestions.

This i usually use Cattleman's and mix in some Sweet baby rays and or KC masterpiece then i usually squeeze a lemon off in it and a little bit of Mustard or Dijon mustard.

Cookies BBQ Sauce...for family. Hands down. Hecho en Iowa...so youll need to buy on online store. We buy it by the case.

If I want the kids to eat it...Cookies goes on it. A touch of sweet but not too much. They dont need too much encouragement with spaghetti but when I do apply some Cookies...clean plates everytime. If theyre heehawing eating anything...Cookies goes on it. My one year old plowed through his sausage/french fry/scrambled eggs this morning...with Cookies on it.

Most all bbq sauce has a touch of brown sugar in it anyhow. Anything with peppercorn in it is an automatic fail for me...for feeding little ones.

You will not fail with Cookies.

I don't do sweet and meat in the same mouthful.

I like Angelo's BBQ sauce from Fort Worth.
