broaden to a tunnel V? no thanks
plenty of accidents can happen where the type of hull is irrelevant, but when it comes to swapping ends, the Tunnel V remains the king.
mixed feelings on the kill switch law. The way the wording works, you have to have your kill switch attached when the boat is moving at headway/idle speed (speed great enough to steer basically). Does that mean while I"m working the trolling motor I have to wear it?
It's a good idea to wear it, but I hope it doesn't turn into another revenue grab... like the back of the hunting license has.Last edited by kyle1974; 11-22-2019, 09:53 PM.

The only time I've swapped ends was in an air boat and it was on purpose. It was dads opening day ritual to turn a 360 on the way back to the ramp
I don't see it as a money grab and cant compare it to seat belt. You not wearing your seat belt has nothing to do with me. In the event you get ejected from the boat and send your sled 30 mph across the bay un manned. That could affect me

Been wearing my kill switch lanyard religiously since I saw the end results of someone who wasn't wearing one.
Once you've seen up close and in person what a TRP will do to a man who was thrown from his boat and then was run over by it, well, that image never goes away.
