Oh yeah!!!!! Sometime those wide heavy bucks have longer tines than they look. In for a great recovery.

Sweet Woodsman! Can’t wait for pictures. Finally saw 6 or so deer running away from the woods but too far. I’m sure someone pushed them out.

Ummm I’m needing drone pizza delivery right now - I ate my lunch for breakfast

It was a quartering-to frontal shot, 15 yards, no pass-thru. However, I hit him dead at the base of his neck. Followed blood for 100 yards or so, seems to have quit.

How much penetration? Arrow still in him?

Good luck with the recovery. Just curious fixed or mechanical broadhead?

Relax, eat, and play it back in your head as to how much arrow was sticking out, direction he ran, and body language as to really hurt and struggling to run or full sprint without slack up. Time and daylight are your friends here. Good luck man!

I bet you find this deer not far from where you lost blood

Lack of blood is not unusual with that hit and no exit. The arrow staying in is good too with a fixed blade still cutting as he moves. Don't give up. Work from drop to drip on hands and knees if you need to. May be quite a distance before he starts blowing out his nose if its one lung. Hang in there.
