My company truck is a F150 4x4 crew with the 2.7 eco boost. It’s a pretty sweet engine and on the highway it has no problem getting 20-21 mph at 70+ mph.

I wish they'd put that Hilux motor in a truck over here. Thing is, it's running without any emissions controls in other countries. They'd have to put a ton of crap on it to make it pass emissions in States. You see all those Terrorist on the news running around in those diesel Toyota's in the middle east. They're probably put straight crude in those things and they run forever.

I think our Military uses the Hilux also because it's so dependable

You're going to enjoy the 2.7.

You better be careful accelerating on wet pavement. Itll get sideways real quick when the turbos kick in.

Man, some of you gents are getting some seriously poor gas mileage. ‘94 Bronco 5.8L with 4” lift, 35” Goodrich All Terrain tires @35psi getting 16 to 17 on the highway. City driving is about the same.

I drive like a grandpa, mostly the speed limit around town and up to 75 on the hwy. In my 2019 F150 crew/4x4 w/2.7 ECO gasser, I get 18.5-19 around town and 20-21 on a flat highway. Drops in the hill country and only get 13-14 pulling my golf cart to my Llano deer camp.
