There is nothing I would rather have in life than a house on a huntable size of land.

Once my kids are out of high school, that will happen. That's 12 years from now.

I enjoy the excitement of packing the truck up and making the commute. As I age I will probably gravitate towards making the permanent move.

I would prefer to live on the property if I owned it and I could find employment willing to pay what I am making at that location. Until then will save cash and keep hunting out of state and on invites until I can afford to live on a nice piece of acreage and not have to worry about the job side of things.

I live 30 minutes from my hunting property I own. I would much rather live on a 50,000 acre hunting ranch and never be able to leave.

owning several places isn't easy. it's a full time job for my wife just to manage and keep all the places stocked with supplies. my ND property is the easiest because we only go once a year.

I have owned decent hunting property for 35 years, but I have always had a deer lease
It’s much bigger, lots of different species of game and other guys to help with the work.
I don’t really enjoy killing bucks I have watched all year.
