That runner shoulda been halfway to 3/4 to second watching. If the ball was caught then he goes back to first easy. But it wasn’t caught so that’s not a variable in what happened

How about Maldonado striking out with bases loaded? How many times has he, alone, left runners stranded? He might have had two hits last night but it’s time to bench him and let someone else take a hack. He has not contributed much if any the entire post season.

Too many jumping on springer I feel like. The fact of the matter there was multiple instances where the game could have changed. How many strike outs did we have at the plate last night? Heck Bregman had 3... and he should be the AL MVP.

remember the astros have lost game 1 at home against the Yankees in the ALCS then won the next 4 of 5. They have also lost game 1 of the last two WS appearances, one of which they ended up going on to win the title.

I don’t think they are out. They are still sitting just fine. They made sherzer work his butt off as well as the bullpen. There’s still a possible 6 games. Another appearance from Cole and 2 from Verlander. Look for Verlander to shove it down the nationals throat for that defeat last night.

Problem is that isn't you, and you don't. They do. You were either too fat, lazy, slow or just plain sucked too much to do it. If Springer (who has a history of great performance in the World Series) does something you deem not good enough, you should probably ask yourself some questions.
