I stopped hunting public when I met a guy walking around with a 30-30 with the hammer cocked and his finger in the trigger guard. This was before lever actions had safeties. Somehow a deer just wasn’t worth it. I know everybody can’t have a lease or own their own land, but if I had to share hunts with thieves and idiots I’d just go on a couple of day leases each year and call it good.

Very common at Twin Buttes. My son walked away from his blind for an hour after a morning hunt and when he got back his brand new blind and brand new chair were gone. Last year the Twin Buttes thread was mostly filled with who got what stolen.

That takes some big balls to take it from where it was no matter daylight or not but I'm surprised you didnt hear anyone coming towards you. I'm assuming you were in close proximity of the cameras location. Hate thieves and liars!

I'd bet they beat you in the stand. Probably watched you the whole time when you came in with a light, got down with hunter orange on, having their hunter orange removed you never noticed them. You may have angered them when you got down at 9:30 and messed up their hunt. Then they stole your camera in hopes you wouldn't return to that area. You're probably in a good spot. Don't get too discouraged.

Yes i think this is along the lines of what happened, yes i have pics of a big one in there. I’m sure they know he’s in there as well

I don’t i don’t know how i didn’t see him or hear him, there were a lot of scrapes and buck sign so i mostly had my head down i guess
