Truck Flatbeds Yes/No?

Lots of farmers switched to them, I cant figure out why

We have flatbeds on the ranches. Feed trucks and general work trucks. The feed trucks have removable side panels to keep tools and supplies from falling off. The only flatbed I don’t like is the aluminum one that’s in an International converted fire truck that we use for pulling trailers. The bed has been welded several times due to stress cracks. That trucks feels like you’re driving a dang bus. All the other trucks with flatbeds I don’t mind driving and working out of.

I’m buying a HD dually pickup but it’s too expensive of a pickup IMO to pull the original bed off. Think I’ll just leave it as is and deal with.
