Can deer smell OFF?

I treat my clothes in permethrin and use 100% deet spray, off isn't enough. Just play the wind, though when I do get winded, I just don't hunt that spot ever again.

Try a picardin based insect repellent. When dry its supposed to be scentless and wont mess up plastic and rubber like deet will. I also use thermocell and treat my clothes with Permethrin for chiggers, ticks and such.

Who's making it now?? This stuff works great for me as I'm allergic to deet but I can't find anything in the stores with picardin??

Sawyers brand is what I use. The make a lotion and a spray. I order from Amazon. But have seen it in Walmart.

of course they can smell it. and its not a normal smell in the woods so it might spook them. In some places a thermocell does the same thing.

Yes they can smell it, that's a no brainer but if they associate that particular smell with humans is another question entirely
