Guys, I was scared to death I had lost her. I am 170-180 yards from where I shot her. At the end of the trail....I could smell a deer. I know some will say I am crazy but I could smell her. I ran out of blood and started to back track. She made a hook and fell behind a tree. I walked within six feet of her . But here is the LDP. Sorry about the bald spot. I had to drag her like 230 yards.

yall are all making me jealous. i have been swamped at work all summer and had no time to scout anything, may not get a chance to hunt this year. hopefully i find some time to get in a stand. I hope everyone has a productive and safe season.

2019 Opening morning daylight pics

Sitting on a ladder stand out at Bar X Ranch. Been seeing plenty of deer and pigs on camera, but no visitors yet this morning, except for squirrels. First legal target that makes an appearance, will get an arrow (hopefully).

Any luck? you weren’t by chance off of middle bayou were you?I killed an 8pt in my backyard in bar x this morning. Nothin huge but pretty nice. First buck I’ve killed here in the 5 years since I’ve been here.
