How do you figure they bet Texas at its own game?

Lsu looked a lot like ou in that they are a quick strike offense, which is NOT Texas game. Herman likes a little more plodding, ball possession type game that keeps the other O on the bench, and wears down their defense. It looks great in a box score, and works really well as long as you don’t drop passes in the end zone, or give up quick scores at the ends of halves.

Did you watch the game?

Texas runs the power spread same as OU. People don't realize how effective the OU run game is.

Texas only had 18 rushing attempts not including Sam. More total passing plays than running plays even if you include non designed QB runs.

Herman tries that slow down run only crap when they have a lead.

Not sure if true or the extent thereof, but there are guest locker rooms all over the country without A/C and much worse.

"Ed Orgeron said #LSU didn't have air conditioning in the Texas visiting locker room. Talked to La Tech and heard about it. LSU brought some blowing fans. Didn't think it had anything to do with the cramps.

They'll do more IVs at halftime to prevent that from happening again."

That's just crazy. I had no clue. Apparently it's the norm and has been a thing for 50 years. Update the home locker room but leave the visitors all jacked up.

Overall a terrible slate of matchups this weekend.

Iowa vs Iowa State should be entertaining.

So the is KState vs Miss St deciding which conference has a lower bottom. I really wish the NCAA would mandate better out of conference games. I have been happy with Texas doing their best to schedule at least one great matchup with a powerhouse. Past few years have had Notre Dame, USC, Cal, UCLA, LSU, with Bama, Michigan, Arky, and Ohio St coming up.

Texas looks the part. They have plenty to work on, especially Todd Orlando and his coverages. Although, I have to say they weren't terrible in coverage as much as Burrow put the ball exactly where it needed to be. He was impressive as was Sam.

I'd also say the have found one heck of a new weapon in Duvernay! He absolutely destroyed Delpit in the second half.

Time to pound some Hooters! Texas opens as a 30.5 point favorite.

Agree, I’m not sure it was scheme issues either, LSU receivers made plays and seemed to be a step or two ahead all night.

I’d add R Johnson at tailback as a big + for the Horns.

I was there and that locker room would have been like an oven.

I walked out of the stadium at halftime to get water and walked by the service area that the team entered in to the locker room through and I felt the cool air coming up the tunnel!

It was hot even at 6:30 PM!

Stories from as soon as 2017-18. Apparently LSU has the worst in the SEC. No showers. Big 10 schools have really bad ones.
