How about that. 80 years without a championship yet we give you all you want on the recruiting front. If we ever win one and really start winning, recruiting may get much easier for us. On the other hand, we haven't been getting beat by the likes of Kansas and Maryland the last several years either.

If, when, If, wish we would, yada yada yada, shut up and do it. Mediocre in the SEC is same as being mediocre anywhere.

Mediocre in the sec, mediocre in the big 12. That means one team is pretty good, the other...not so much.

That said, I do think Texas will be better this year, but this game and OU will be the only 2 times we will really be able to measure that. If Texas loses those two games and wins the rest, guess what. They are still at best...mediocre. if ATM loses to Clemson, bama, GA, LSU, and wins the rest, we are probably mediocre, maybe even a little better than that. We just have different measuring sticks these days.

Lots of talk on the sports shows both TV and radio after week one about how overrated the SEC is. You saw who some of y'alls teams lost to, right? Big 12 was 3-1 in bowls vs SEC last season. They always get alot of teams ranked pre season but it evens out once games are played. The B1G has one more ranked team currently.
