For thin cuts I'll pound the crap out of them with a meat mallet (that's what she said) and grill them hot. Works pretty well.

As far as chemical tenderizers... I haven't used them in forever.

He asked how to tenderize his beef steaks....buying better cuts of meat is a simple option to get a tender steak is it not?. If you buy them on sale looking at the ads each week, they can even be a cheaper option.

I used something similar on fajitas cuts and cutlets for CFS. Much easier and cleaner than a mallet.....although a mallet works.

1.5 doe is better for tenderness. I had a larger 1.5 spike a couple of years ago that was reasonably tender.

If you don't buy good beef, tenderize and/or cook a steak properly, just use your teeth to tenderize the steak it gives your jaw a good work out
