Hunter Safety Card Question

Anybody know if it's acceptable to carry your hunter safety card as a screenshot on your phone, or do you have to actually print it out and carry it in paper form?

I’ve been trying to do this all morning. I lost my card and I’m trying to get a new one sent, but I can’t access my status on their website. Guess I’ll have to just call and actually talk to somebody. I’m too aggravated to try any longer.
This is the error message it sends. Anybody know another way before I throw this phone out the window? Lol

Game Warden told me it was up to the discretion of the warden when I asked. He said "you know it does state you are supposed to have it on you" while hunting.

My youngest son has a habit of losing his. So, I have him keep a screen shot on his phone.

Pretty sure it states you have to have “proof of hunters education” . It doesnt say you have to have a physical paper card on you

Just repeating what the warden told me in person at our hunting camp last season.

Best thing to do is call TPWD and have them put your hunters Ed number on your license

Thanks for pointing that out. I just checked my new license and my HE# is on there. So I’m good to go I guess.

I did all that. And answered all the security questions. And still same result. I even tried it with and without my middle initial because I can’t remember if I used it or not at that time.
But my HE# is on my license so that should be all they need.
