The land side is dead right now. Very hard to acquire stuff right now, everyone remembers the inflated offers from some of these private equity groups pre Chinese virus.

I come from an oilfield family, and went straight into my current job straight out of college 7 years ago, I’ve never seen anything quite like this, even when I was a child and dad was at home on the couch from being laid off from Halliburton. This seems to be a once in a lifetime type of bust.

It’ll all roll over one day, but from our conversation, this one is just strange to navigate.
Hope y’all are doing well out in New Waverly!

I’m not seeing this Q4 bump folks keep bringing up here. Not sure if that’s just a dream for some or where that info is coming from ??? Sure looks like we’ll into 2021 before we see any substantial recovery if current political/worldwide positions stay stable (stable as can be).

Was a great market for years. Gave a lot to me and my family. But sometimes you just need to move on. Not sure what my dad is going to do yet but he will figure it out.

Y’all may think it’s crazy, but....
Some friends and I decided it’s perfect time to start a Tool Company!!
We can pick up equipment fairly cheap, and we all had relationships with small operators who are still producing their legacy assets. We can really focus on building trust and integrity and slowly prove who we are on a very intimate level with little overhead costs.... we all got tired of being in the rat race working for big companies and decided it’s best to work for yourself!!
Shoot me a message if anyone is in need of Downhole (workover or completion) tools as well as artificial lift!

I think just about all were seeing is lease drilling. In the Permian anyway. A little discount drilling will definitely be in the works for folks actually sitting on cash is is very few.
