Haha oops. It’s always worse when you think “I probably shouldn’t do this, so I don’t screw up later”
I was replacing a wax ring one time on a toilet. I got the bright idea to use a sponge to soak up all the water so when I flipped it over it wouldn’t make a mess. Got the toilet back on and forgot the sponge until about a nanosecond after I flushed it. That sucker made it through the toilet and hung up in the main drain line. $500 later I had a new cleanout and a clear drain.

Just talked to the seller, I couldnt apologize enough. He is being very gracious about it and is going to work on getting the replacement titles. I offered a couple hundred dollars for the trouble, and hope he takes it.

Cale, if you happen to see this thread, once again, I am sorry for the trouble!

Titles are easy to replace and fast if you pay the "express" fee of $64.

TPWD website has all the docs and you can search titles using serial numbers and TX boat id numbers to gather info you don't know, fill in the blanks.

The only TPWD office they will do it right now until person is in Austin.

I had to laugh because those things happen in our family all the time. In the grand scheme of things, it's a minor speed bump, and everything is replaceable. Congrats on the new boat!
