If you could find all the peeps that got a ticket from that particular rat having his little fund raiser knowing full well the equipment was faultly and give them a heads up and a copy of the transcript they could potentially all get that ticket dropped. Also, if said rat knew that stuff was faulty....who else knew and for how long???$$$$
I bet there's a lawyer that'd help all those folks out...

OP congratulations on the outcome in court and it sounds like if you wanted to further press the issue and get your lost time back, you’d likely be successful there as well.

Personally, I would drop it myself & not let it steal anymore of my joy...the hassle of reimbursement for 1500 will likely take more days off needed & even much more aggravation. Chalk it up, pat yourself on the back & get on with it.

Maybe write a letter to the presiding judge and DA that brought it to court, explain your situation, and what you could do- if you chose too? Nothing more than a few minutes, yet get in their head?

I think I remember reading somewhere that you are allowed to sue for up to 3x the losses. Might be worth spending an hour or two looking into it.

It does work that way you just have to be willing to go through it and see it through. The system has been built so that it is difficult. Like was said above if more people would stand up to being wronged by the system, the system would get its act together. That’ll never happen though because too many folks like you will just bend over and take it
