Out of curiosity do they taste better or is it just a mind thing with the poop shoot being gone? I eat a bunch and they have never bothered me.
    Just curious more than anything.

This if you don’t have a deveining knife. I could do 2lbs in about 2 minutes.

I think it’s more of the sight of the poop shoot that gets me, I’ve eaten with and without. The difference may be nominal but the lady would call it out quickly at the table

              I’ll pass on the graphite/lead[emoji23]

That red tool works on the same concept.

Have used a fork since my pawpaw taught me as a young kid to do so. Might be a better way but this works just fine. There’s a bit of nostalgia for me using a fork. Good memories. It’s the little things.

I peel them from the side with a seafood fork. Pinch the tail so it the meat comes out.. shrimp will look like the tail is still on but it's just meat. Then use the fork or toothpick to remove the vein. Stick the toothpick in the last 1/3 of the tail to lift it out.. might take some getting use to but I can do a pound of shrimp in about 5 min..

Doesn’t get much easier and quicker. One push and done.

Yep! Been using one of those for probably 30 years! Before that I used a pencil or one of those red plastic things.
