15-25 yards. And if it's a spooky doe, will seldom shoot beyond 15. And then I aim really low!

50-76 yards away and hand corn close to me 10-18 yards

Ground blind - 30 yards. Tree stand - 20 yards.

My favorite stand is my big box blind known as the Hilton. It is 10 yards from the feeder.

My tripods are about 15-18 yards.

My good friend, adviser, mentor, and accomplished bow hunter and bow hunting guide gave me some advice about bow hunting animals. He told me that the highest percentage of bad bow shots happen from 22-30 yards. The highest percentage of good bow shots happen less than 15 yards and more than 35 yards. Why is that? He said because deer have more time to move from jumping the string between 22 and 30 yards. They only begin to move if the shot is less than 15 yards and generally do not jump the string at more than 35 yards.

My personal experience has validated his statements. I'm sure there will be some keyboard warriors that disagree with me, but I'm only passing on advice that has worked well for me.
