I like Opies in Spicewood. I haven't eaten at Coopers in Llano but I bought brisket/
. sausage and ribs from the Coopers in Mason which was beyond bad. What I threw out Friday night because I couldn't eat it was still laying on the ground behind the cabin Sunday when I left.

            Incorrect.

The brisket at Opie's is cooked on an offset and has a bark. The other stuff is cooked "cowboy or western style". Coopers made it famous but didn't invent it. Lot's of people that live in the area cook that way.
