Needle blinds. They were popular back in the 1960's to early 70's. I hunted out of one in the Eagle Pass area back in the day. It was **** cold and pretty risky climbing into the seat. Back then most people only hunted South Texas only during the rut and didn't use corn for bait. So you got as high as you could to cover the most distance.

We had a 30ft monopod on our old lease. Looks about the same 70s-80s vintage. The wires still tight? Those brave enough to climb it could see a lot of country. Recommend sub-200lbs for the first test climb!

Good deal. Figured y'all know exactly what it was. The wires weren't very tight so only made it about half way up. Could definitely see a lot though.

Hate to crash yalls thread but figured it might be worth a try.

If any of yall want to do a turkey/javi hunt on your south texas lease I would be very interested. I am fairly experienced hunting both. Dont need help or guide. Can hunt together if you want or however works for you. Whether you do lodging is up to you. I have UTV, calls, decoys, everything. Can be hands on or hands off. Your call.

Not looking for you to guarantee hunt, or freebie. Looking for full weekend ( or even 3 day ) if possible. I expect to pay $500+ depending on situation.
