      Dan sent me a pic, congrats brother ! That's an awesome fish I'm jealous! I still havent fished athens and I'm just down the road. This just pushed me to go check it out lol yall still need to come fish here behind the house sometime

                Thats lame. That 13 pound mark has always been the unicorn people are after.. 8 pound fish are a dime a dozen if you fish alot on the right lakes..

                    11 lb fish are few and far between, even amongst those of us that fish for a living, and have been fortunate to catch lots of big bass. It’s unfortunate to see TPWD capitulate to the “Everyone deserves a trophy” mentality. Congrats to the OP on a great fish, probably a fish of a lifetime, but not a TRUE Sharelunker.

                            Couldn't agree more. I guess they needed a reason to have more participation in the program but wish they would have reserved the "sharelunker" name for the 13lb and larger fish. I think the reasons fewer sharelunkers were being entered was 2 fold, Fork has matured and just not producing like it once was and the program had a lot of those 13lbers die in a short span of time a few years ago on while in Athens, the latter I think has been remedied.
