          No, it was a small pasture to the right off Old Brandon Road as you went towards IH-35. There was a small deteriorating barn and some machinery there. I think it's all apartments now.

              Nice! Where you catch one, there are usually others. Will likely catch more if you keep trapping that area. Some of the best sets are in the same place where you catch one.

              Because they are a totally different animal with different food and habitat requirements. They also have a harder time competing with coyotes than the greys.

                  go calling at night , you`d be surprised how many are out there . they don't move much in the daylight hours.

                    I have called and killed a lot of grays off our place but never had a red come in. I saw one about a year ago about 30 yards if that from where I caught this one.

                      I see them pretty regularly when im in my tree stand hunting. Are they that rare to see?? Heck I've seen as many as 4 at one time

                        Dang that's awesome. I've seen them but never have killed one. You don't see them outside of town very often. And it seems like every time you see one in town it ends up getting hit on the road. So between the coyotes and vehicles they don't do too well.
