Caught a few last weekend at Granger. They were scattered in the san Gabriel. All caught on fire tiger rooster tails.

Navy chief caught quite a few popping a jig under a weighted bobber.

We spent about an hour on Chambers Creek at I-45 on Sunday. Water was flowing pretty good from all the rains and fairly stained.

Zero fish but the both my girls were exciting to practice casting on their new clearance academy rod/reels.

Got into them at Granger today, up Willis Creek. I caught a half-dozen, but watched a lot of others turn their nose up at the lures I was pitching them.

I'll be at the ranch (my ranch is next to the park) in a couple of days. I'll ask the rangers. I know a couple weeks ago the crappie were biting though. Whites should be at least staging down 1/2 mile or so.

Planning to try friday or Saturday on waco. Haven't been but need to test some stuff on the boat before LA trip next week.
