If you're just wanting a light to know where to put your feet, the lights that clip on your cap visor will do, and very inexpensive. The upside is, the visor doesn't cast a shadow that makes you have to duck your head up and down like a chicken pecking corn. The downside is, that's about all they're good for, close range.

I have this light and it's great. simple to use with different brightness levels for both the green and white lights. Used the same set of batteries in it all season too.

Night eyes... Their customer support is great. Broke my headlamp twice and had no issues replacing it. Kinda pricey but worth it. Really makes their eyes grow.
