How about a good Chris Martin story. I was fishing Welder Flats. When I had some linkage in my motor crap out. I had just taken the cowling off to have a look. A boat was passing by in the distance. It turned and headed my way. It was Chris and a couple of clients. He asked if I needed help. I did. He tossed me a rope and towed me back to the dock in Seadrift. I offered to pay him but he refused. Just said to do the same if I ever saw somebody in the same situation. Most people would have just passed on by since I wasn't flagging for help.

We now return you back to the lynching.

I agree and I find myself wanting to fish less these days. Just hanging out at the house there is a lot less stressful.

That’s what I was getting at. I try to be courteous when I’m driving the shoalwater and the airboat. It’s just tough sometimes in the airboat since it is loud and is not safe to operate in deep water.

M16- I have had good experience with him as well. I was down there about every week with kids. He always was cool with my 2 boys. One weekend I had 2 more kids and was struggling on an East wind. Next morning I was at ramp with the circus. He walked up and told me to follow him and get some shrimp and take the kids to catch drum. That we did. I don’t know him as well as a lot of folks but he has never wronged me

There is absolutely no doubt. But that **** I see those idiots do in Rockport boggles my mind. I've had them run between me and the shorewhen I could cast to the shore. I've had them run between me and the boat when I was 60 yards from it… I have rarely seen one down there that wasn't doing something stupid. The pricks won't even look at you when they go by.

I would never expect Matt or Brent to do that stuff, I'm positive they wouldn't. I was just being a smart *** mostly. And I would gladly hot lap Stolle's boat around a wet coastal field!
