Ha! I just gave Swampa the lowdown.

When people get caught places they aren’t supposed to be, apparently more than once, they get in trouble. That’s all I have to say about that!

I first met Chris in the early 90s when he lived on Ave D in Katy. Way before bay flats. His character? Well hes a snake and I hope he looses his hunting license for a few years over it. As mentioned hes been down there long enough to know where he cant be.
Don’t know him and have never fished with him, but I know he doesn’t have a very good reputation with the locals in Seadrift. Guess there are good reasons for it.

Not trying to get you to put private stuff here but curious how accurate some of these rumors are. So is it fair to say he was ticketed on opening day then arrested when caught again yesterday? Are you able to say if the location previously posted was correct?

Very likely he was ticketed opening day and warrant wasn’t issued until prosecution had time to review the facts.

That's about the same time I first met him. They were living in Katy at the time and he was supposedly just coming up with what would be later known as the Texas rig for decoys. First time I'd ever seen it. I guided ducks and geese at Blue Goose with his stepson TJ

Usually that would allow you to post bond and not be hauled in to wear the classy stripes

Prolly a hair after me. TJ and I were still in high school. Pretty sure he went to blue goose after graduation and attending some school up north

Also falcon point has been closed down since the hurricane
So one might figure that the du ponds on falcon point are fair game while no one is there, um wrong!
Some one still hunts them and clients and other guides were with him as well.
It’s just a case of pushing the limits on boundaries and he is getting his hand slapped.
And what really gets me is they lease a great majority of land around the county, why take a chance on traspassing?
