Just when I though I seen it all.....

    How crazy is this...

Actually, I've seen a truck with two cross racks mounted on it. I plan on having a rack like that mounted on my trailer, so I can slide my coolers and gear underneath the ATV's. The one I saw was homemade, but there is a website somewhere that sells them.

If you are short on available space... go skyward

        Good use of space.

Dry weight average is 300#'s to 600#'s. And with a cost of $3000 to maybe $7000. I couldn't see my investment in position like this. On a trailer that is a different situation.

Absolutely. I have a trailer or I will put mine in the BED of my truck.

I have actually seen one mounted ON TOP of the cab. Not sideways, but forward like in the bed, but on top.

Still tryin to figure out what problem you have with it. It doesn't seem to be making the truck ride low and there seems to be plenty of tie down straps on it.

If, we as hunters, would go back to the old days we would not need to carry so much at one time. I ,however, can't do with out the all the luxories I've come to think I need.

I don't think you understand...the rails are bolted down to the truck, and the ATV is strapped down also...no different than in a trailer.
