Guess I missed it so for clarity, where is everyone meeting up and where is the fishing? Monday is better for me and if I bring my rig Shane and his fishing guide can ride with me. We won’t have to go around the long way.
I put 250-300 hours a year on mine. An average guy who fishes fairly often will hit 100 hours a year. Honestly 1k hours isn't a drop in the bucket of what a well maintained outboard is capable of. Most die from lack of use and I'd rather buy one with higher hours that has been run regularly and hasn't set up alot. I'd be more scared of the 5 year old motor that has 100 hours on it.
Ok looks like Tuesday it is! Brian( Gigem ) and Charlie (SWS) are in my boat, who else is coming? Looks like BFT needs a ride. I'm sure at least one more boat will join in

If you're coming Monday we'll be meeting at the Habor at 6 am
That would be awesome if you could bring your boat
No sir, no group place at the moment. I'll probably stay at the famous Shell Motel. The Fisherman Motel is an option too. Guess it depends on how many will be staying the night. So far it's just you and me....
Thinking about going out to Matty early this Saturday. Never been so it will be my first trip out that way. Is there a place to wade fish out there. Not looking for honey holes either.
Is there a group place to stay Sunday night? Matty is a good haul to round trip for me.
Nahh
Ive rolled down to the 3 mile cut, walked to the bay and duck hunted till 8 or 9a. Drove back to downtown Houston and worked 2p -10pm then drove home to magnolia.
