Bison burger from Walmart. I lost all my game when my freezer went out while I was out of town.

Black eyed peas and hog jowl.

              North AR tradition

Ham, mashed potatoes, black eyed peas and my kids favorite fried salt pork. I make them eat some of the peas before they can eat the salt pork. Family tradition since I was a kid.

Smoked bologna and peas. I love black eyed peas and eat them regularly no matter the holiday

I just got some jambalaya started in the slow cooker - takes about 7 hours. We will have black eyed peas and from-scratch cornbread for lunch. Trying to summon the motivation to go out in this cold north wind and take down Christmas decorations.
