https://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/ame...dCatid=4726231 Bucee's has this feeder in 600 pound model for $269 the only thing i had to add was a battery and solar panel. They are not really stand and fill, but I can fill it from the bed of my mule.

Why not just go redundant instead of big. Build a frame, mount 2 55 gallon barrels on it and have 2 motors and 2 timers, 2 batteries. You still get your 600+ pounds, and if 1 goes out, you’re still slinging corn. Just set em to half the sling time

I just called numerous Academy’s and had them look up the SKU to the 600#er.
The stores that showed them as “ limited quantity” online can’t locate any at the store.
One guy told me they never put them on sale at his store since they sell them year round.

Apparently they’re as rare as hens teeth at the moment.

Academy had the stand and fill 600#ers on sale last week for $244, but none of the stores that I found had them in stock. No problem, just order one, EXCEPT they wanted $149 shipper per feeder!

I will stick with the 600#ers from J&L sales.

Ya, that part I knew. That’s a great heads up though.
I won’t be throwing a lot corn, so I don’t mind ponying up for really clean corn.
