Ive asked this many times on here, where are open carriers being targeted on any semblance of regularity? I’ll wait.

This is one of the stupidest arguments against open carry. It’s no different than the sensationalism that the liberals use in their talking points.

They won’t acknowledge that. Just like they won’t acknowledge that all of the things they are concerned about aren’t issues in states with open carry.

It’s a pretty common practice in other states with citizens that aren’t as afraid of guns as a lot of Texans obviously are.

I cringe when I see open carry....not sure why as I have exposed my edc while reaching into/over the back of my truck.

I just prefer to blend in with the sheep I suppose....

Sunday is usually the best day to open carry. Put on your OD green Infidel ( spelled in Arabic ) tight t-shirt, sporting the bedazzled jeans and freshly bought square-toed cowboy boots that have never stepped off pavement. Hop into your truck and head straight to Wal-mart to pick up the items needed for your veggie tray! Be overly friendly to everyone you pass, knowing deep inside your mind.... that you are truly.... are in fact, an American bad-azz!

I don't open carry but I have zero issue if someone else wants to. I have OC'd a couple of times a few years ago (when living in PA, it was legal there without an LTC so I would see it occasionally). I don't like attention so I stopped. I don't think I would be targeted by a shooter. But even just having people point at my gun as I walk past makes me uncomfortable, so I don't do it. I'm a "blend in to the crowd" type of person.

You may be right. it just makes sense if you are gonna shoot up a room full of people that the guy with a pistol on his hip will be the first one getting a bullet. It's just textbook 101 mass shooting logic.

Not that common sense and logic are involved with mass shootings. If you wanted you take out as many people as you can why tell me why you wouldn't shoot the guy you know has a gun on him. I'll wait.
