If they ask you to leave and you don't you are breaking the law. You can fight it but why bother spending the money. I personally don't open carry because I prefer to conceal for many reasons.

They can ask you to leave for any reason. Having an LTC and not complying elevates the trespass. Open carry does not bother me at all, the silly rules around it do. Having to get a license to carry is ridiculous. Texas should pass Constitutional carry. The funny thing is that the ooen carry Texas clowns pretty much sunk that passing in the last session. The current climate looks better for weed than carry rights.
Having said all that, I prefer to carry concealed for many reasons. The only thing that irritates me right now is having to conceal when in my vehicle. I can have a suppressed SBR in the passenger seat ready to rock, legal. Pistol in the same place, illegal. Makes no sense. I would like to pull my carry weapon off and have it readily available on long trips. Putting it in the console is a pita.

Don't believe open carry makes them a target. Bad people go to gun free zones they don't want to be shot at.( They run) I carry with my shirt over mine and I don't go in a gun free zone either you don't have to put in console when in your vehicle just cover it . I been stoped and they asked where I point and say right there under towel it just can be laying open in plane view except on your sideComment

Citizens that open carry are generally dufusses. A business can refuse to serve anyone and ask them to leave.

I open carry and have never had any problem at Whataburger. On another note I have probably seen more people open carrying in Whataburger than any other place. Buckees is a close second.Comment

Sunday is usually the best day to open carry. Put on your OD green Infidel ( spelled in Arabic ) tight t-shirt, sporting the bedazzled jeans and freshly bought square-toed cowboy boots that have never stepped off pavement. Hop into your truck and head straight to Wal-mart to pick up the items needed for your veggie tray! Be overly friendly to everyone you pass, knowing deep inside your mind.... that you are truly.... are in fact, an American bad-azz!
