That’s all I was calling it too! A tree holder upper! I like the idea of cutting the cedar out and moving it. I’ll do that..

I have wanted to see some of these old implements being used. The family farm, that used to be in the family when I was growing up, was like a farming museum. Unk had implements lined up on both sides of the road heading out to the pasture. I would guess the farm house and everything in it was from the early 1900s. He had implements from probably the 1920s or 1930s up to the 1960s. I would say the newest equipment he had was from the early to mid 70s. He had two tractors in the barn I think both were probably in working condition, but when I was around, we only used the John Deer. There was a IH that looked like it was probably in working condition, but I think I only saw him use that, when I was very young. Then he had some older tractors from the 1940s and 1950s outside that obviously had not been used in a long time. I never asked what all those old implements were used for, I did not care, when I was young. But in the past 20 years or so, I see some of those old implements and stare at them trying to figure out how they worked and what they were used for. I see guys restoring old tractors and showing them all the time. I would like to see the old implements in use, that I would find interesting.
