What is this and is anyone interested in it..

Besides all of the funny comments.. this has been on my property obviously for a long time. I purchased a small tract of land a couple years ago and found this gem.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

    Thanks

Looks like some kind of harvester. Take in in somewhere for scrap iron..

The second picture looks like it might be some kind of hay cutter. My grandpa used to have one like that. Many moons ago.

Its similar to a hay sickle, my grandfather had one very similar. I would say its used to cut corn stalks and lay them in a row. Just a guess.

They don't make that stuff anymore. Don't scrap it! Restore it or give it to someone who will. A relic from times gone by.

Looks like great things to take across the scales for a little extra gun money.

I would cut that **** cedar out and move it close to your house/camp as a conversation starter. Very cool, I think!

                      This^^^^^

Like others have said, some brand of sickle bar mower. Cuts the grass, lays it over, lines it up and baler finishes it up. I helped a friend’s family with that.....once.

this. In good condition it works great for cutting wheat, oats, rye, etc. for bailing.
