That's kinda what I was thinking. Using the roads and senderos as a way to split up the ranch into 7 parts, some areas are bigger than others. I think once we pick a section and everyone gets a feeder up, we'll look at what areas we have left we can put a few community feeders and all pitch in to keep them going. I dont think we're going to be set on boundaries either, just use them for now to give everyone an area to look for a spot for a feeder and then go from there. I know for sure a couple of these guys wont come down as much to hunt as they live a lot farther than we do

I haven't read through the whole thread and if this has already been said, I apoligize. But, all I can say is to vet everyone very well before you agree to anything. Also, I highly recommend having all rules and regs in writing so there are zero misunderstandings. Once you state rules they need to not change or get fuzzy in any way. Makes going to the lease, relaxing and enjoying your time much easier than having childish drama.

Draw for spots. Community stands may be OK for pole smokers.....but 100% not OK for bow set-ups. I don't like sitting in other peoples stuff, I don't want someone in mine ( bow blind )

As far as cameras.....If you want to see whats in my area, go buy your own camera and set it up. Leave mine the hail alone, especially if you cant remember to turn it back on and not delete all my pictures that I might want to look at.

On our place each member gets a personal spot of their choosing and they have to provide an additional spot as a club stand. This allows members to hunt their private spot while still letting everyone hunt lots of different spots on the ranch.

We all build and maintain all stands, feed stations and food plots as a group. Each morning or afternoon we talk it out and decide who's going where. It works for us and I couldn't handle it any other way.

I guess that's what the difference between a lease and a farm. LOL

Like having a hit list for deer that have some on it that may or may not be on the no hit list but decided by a couple to come off the no hit list onto the hit list but not everyone knows they're not on the no hit list anymore? Nah, we wont have any of that bull. And there are only 3 of us that bow hunt, so bow set ups will be on us 3, and I think sticking to our own during bow season will be just fine with us. For those who say they have their own feeder AND a community set up per member, how many members do you have and on how many acres? As was mentioned above, I almost feel like 14 feeders on 1300 acres is a little much. This place has a lot of brush on it, but also has a lot of senderos and roads

~3,400 acres. 9 individual stands with corn & protein feeders plus 3 community stands with corn feeders only.

We’re kind of a mix. I wouldn’t call them “community stands” but everybody can hunt wherever they want. We each have a stand and feeder that we keep up with ourselves, but if someone wants to hunt your spot when you’re not there then go ahead. We don’t call “our” target bucks, nor do we get mad if someone kills a buck from our stand when we’re not there. Last time i checked those deer belong to the state, I have no rights to them. This has worked for your group for a long time, we have no reason to change anytime soon.

We had a piece of property that was 1100ac and we set up blinds and feeders on the property. Your lease membership covered corn and protein and we fed year round. It was all family or close friends. No one had an assigned stand we just asked who wanted to hunt where and it was never an issue. Some of us had remote spots that we took care of ourselves but they didn’t have feeders.

We had that property for 12 years and lost it after last season when an individual bought for his personal playground

If a place if filled with family or friends it SHOULD be a really simple deal. I hunt a few hundred acres. At times there were 3 of us now just 2. I dont use feeders so I dont contribute to that bill.
I already had several stand in place since I've been on this place for about 30 years so I told him he could hunt from any one he wanted. Just dont put feeders near these 3 bow stands.
He put a couple stands up with feeders and from time to time hunts my bow stands. He sleeps in my trailer and when he brings his son and it's nice they get the camper and I sleep out under the stars.
