Valid question. Hunter would seem to be protected in dispatching wounded animal as part of continuous pursuit -- just can't hunt it for a couple of days.

Arent there some very specific regulations to the lawful dispatch of a wounded deer? Seems Sika has posted about that in the past.

I'm almost there. Just stirring the pot
I did use a crossbow one season, and I was glad to have that option. I had elbow and shoulder surgery, and couldn't draw back a bow.
