My FIL fought this hog for about 30 minutes yesterday close to San Antonio bay while fishing for redfish. One of the biggest I've seen in a while! Think it breaks 40lbs?

I have no clue as if they are over 7-8lbs I don’t keep them lol.

The small ones are generally wormfree and great!

Maybe. Easy to calculate if you carry a cloth ruler and get length and girth. Caught a bunch and many look huge and 40# is a hoss.
